Main Features

12mm vertical lifeline ropes available in various lengths: 10, 20, 30, and 50 meters, equipped with steel screw-lock carabiners and thimbles.

Braided polyester rope designed for use with the WIND device (Ref. 1888-DF). Minimum breaking strength of 22 kN.

Main Applications

Vertical lifeline ropes are used for work involving vertical movement with fall risk, securing the user via the WIND sliding fall arrester at any point along the rope.

Important Note: Vertical lifeline ropes are not considered personal protective equipment (PPE) by themselves and must always be used in conjunction with sliding fall arrest devices compliant with EN353-2. Therefore, they should never be attached directly to the harness, but only through a sliding fall arrester device (WIND).

The vertical lifeline ropes comply with EN353-2 (Sliding fall arresters on flexible anchor lines) and EN354 (Lanyards).
