Sliding Fall Arrest Device

Main Features

The sliding fall arrest device for rope is made of aluminum, with steel screw-lock carabiners and an energy absorber. Being made of aluminum, the positioning device is very lightweight (weight: 180g) and is designed for ropes with a diameter of 12–13 mm.

The sliding rope device is certified and complies with the EN358 standard. It can be used with different types of positioning ropes. It can be attached anywhere along the rope, not just at the ends, thanks to its easy-opening mechanism.

Main Applications

It is used as a sliding fall arrester on life lines with ropes of 12–13 mm diameter and as a positioning and restraint lanyard component. By removing the energy absorber, it prevents reaching the fall point or simply allows the user to position themselves with a belt, leaving their hands free.
