ELSANEK OLEFINE FABRICS:

OLEFINE is a polymer composed of linear macromolecules consisting of saturated hydrocarbon units in which a carbon atom laterally incorporates a methyl group, generally in an isostatic configuration with no other substitutions.

The isostatic configuration, in the case of polypropylene, means that all the methyl groups are on the same side.

This regular distribution of methyl groups provides crystallinity between 70 and 85%, which means we are dealing with a polymer with the following properties:

· High mechanical strength (toughness and fatigue)
· Resistant to chemical solvents
· Inert and non-toxic polymer
· Has excellent dielectric properties
· Low moisture absorption coefficient (water-repellent)
· Fully recyclable (eco-friendly plastic)
