Industrial cybersecurity and occupational health take centre stage at the Advanced Manufacturing and Worksafe Barcelona conference with Deepak Daswani and Victor Küppers
Computer engineer and cybersecurity expert Deepak Daswani will be the keynote speaker at the Tech Congress 4.0 conference on 1 October.
Victor Küppers, international speaker and motivator, will give an inspiring talk at Worksafe on how to approach work and life with optimism in uncertain times.
Both professional events will be held in Pavilion 1 of Fira de Barcelona – Gran Via Exhibition Centre on 1 and 2 October.
Barcelona, 10 July 2025. Today’s industrial innovation cannot be understood without a 360º vision that combines technology and people. In this context, Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona and Worksafe will feature two high-impact keynotes that will focus on the main challenges in the workplace and industrial environment: cybersecurity and mental health. Both of these leading industrial events in Catalonia are organised by Easyfairs and will be held jointly on 1 and 2 October at Fira de Barcelona – Gran Via venue.
The opening day of Tech Congress 4.0, a leading forum within Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona, will feature a presentation by Deepak Daswani, one of Spain’s most renowned ethical hackers, with a solid national and international track record. His presentation, entitled ‘Industrial cybersecurity: protecting the plant in the era of IT/OT convergence’, will take place on 1 October from 11:30 to 12:15 and will analyse the digital threats facing connected factories, as well as the keys to shielding their systems from increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks. Daswani has been Security Evangelist at the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), CyberSOC Academy Expert at Deloitte and Chief Security Ambassador at Telefónica Tech.
On 2 October, from 10:30 to 11:15, the WS Congress at the Worksafe fair will welcome Victor Küppers, an international speaker and one of Spain’s leading figures in motivational outreach and positive psychology. In his talk, entitled ‘Living and working with joy,’ he will address the impact of stress, constant pressure and burnout in the workplace, and share tools for facing everyday challenges with attitude, enthusiasm and resilience.
‘With the participation of Deepak Daswani and Victor Küppers, we offer two complementary and necessary perspectives: the protection of the industrial environment from a technological standpoint and mental health care in organisations. Both reflect the comprehensive approach we are proposing this year, focused on both innovation and well-being,’ says Oscar Barranco, managing director of Easyfairs Iberia.
