Worksafe and Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona close their 2025 edition with successful participation and effective business
More than 202 exhibitors and 4,000 unique visitors gathered at Fira – Gran Vía during the two-day event.
Barcelona, 3 October 2025. The second edition of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona (AMB) and the first edition of Worksafe closed their doors yesterday in Pavilion 1 of Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue, after two days that brought together 202 companies and 4,000 professionals, 36% more than in its first edition. Throughout both events, more than 13,300 commercial interactions took place, reflecting the dynamism and capacity of the events to connect the industry and open up new avenues for collaboration.
“With Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona and Worksafe, we have created a unique space where technological innovation and occupational safety converge. We want professionals to discover concrete solutions, generate valuable contacts and be inspired to promote projects that transform industry and preventive culture in Spain,” says Oscar Barranco, managing director of Easyfairs Iberia, the company organising both fairs.
Visitors to AMB were able to see first-hand the latest solutions in automation, advanced manufacturing, 3D printing and surface treatment, as well as machining equipment, collaborative robotics, exoskeletons and industrial control systems. Among the brands present were Yaskawa, VLB Group, Bahco, Bollhoff, Emka, Fat, Lusavouga, Messer Ibérica de Gases and Oxiplant.

‘This second edition of AMB has been very positive, with a large number of visitors and, above all, a wide representation from different fields, such as robotics and welding, which make the fair a key meeting point for the industrial sector,’ said Miguel Ángel Martín, manager of Catsol.
For its part, Worksafe offered in its first edition a tour of the most innovative solutions in risk prevention, occupational safety, asset protection and fire protection, including personal protective equipment, advanced detection systems and practical demonstrations of emergency response. Among the participating companies were MPM, Baroig, Faraone, Hovmand, Accesus, Previnsa and Safety360.
Matteo Faraone, CEO of Faraone, highlighted: ‘The inaugural edition of Worksafe has generated great interest, with the attendance of professionals from large industries, such as occupational safety technicians. We have already made a reservation for the next edition.’
Experts set the agenda for AMB and Worksafe 2025
AMB’s Tech Congress 4.0 addressed the major challenges facing advanced manufacturing, including digitalisation, automation, cybersecurity, intelligent robotics and industrial data management. Deepak Daswani’s keynote session, ‘Industrial cybersecurity: protecting the plant in the era of IT/OT convergence’, highlighted the need to anticipate threats and ensure production continuity.
“A few years ago, it was much more difficult for factories to suffer cyberattacks. The reason was simple: they were not connected to the Internet. Today, with the convergence of IT and OT, the situation has changed radically. The most important thing is to understand that most of these incidents do not occur because of a sophisticated or unstoppable attack, but rather tend to originate from two key factors: technical error or human error,” explained Daswani.
As for the Worksafe Congress, the focus was on preventive culture, occupational well-being and innovation in industrial safety. Víctor Küppers’ keynote speech, ‘Living and working with joy’, highlighted the importance of well-being and motivation in safe working environments.
In this regard, Küppers pointed out: “When you work with joy, you bring out the best in yourself. Your main resource as a person is your spirit. That’s where the difference between your best and worst versions lies. There are two types of joy: euphoria.
Likewise, AMB’s Innovation Tours and Live Demo Machinery space allowed attendees to experience cutting-edge technologies in automation, advanced manufacturing and occupational safety. At Worksafe, live demonstrations were held with sniffer dogs and immersive virtual reality workshops on fire management, falls from height and industrial machinery operation. In addition, the afternoons of both events offered networking activities such as industry meetings, professional speed dating and cocktail parties to facilitate connections between companies and professionals.
Preparing for the 2027 edition
Following the success of the 2025 edition, Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona and Worksafe are already looking to the future. The next edition will be held on 28 and 29 September 2027 at Fira de Barcelona, and 50% of the exhibition space has already been reserved, reflecting the confidence of exhibitors and sponsors in the ability of both shows to generate business, visibility and quality networking. The organisers anticipate growth in visitor numbers and activities, consolidating the fair as the leading meeting point for advanced industry and occupational safety.
