Trade show for worksafe, security and fire protection

Five reasons why you cannot miss Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona and Worksafe 2025 next week

Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona, the major biennial trade fair that took the Catalan capital by storm in 2023, returns to Fira Barcelona on 1 and 2 October with the latest solutions for industry.
Its second edition will be held alongside the launch of Worksafe, the event dedicated to industrial safety, which is coming to Spain for the first time.
Attendees will once again find the best of Catalan industrial talent, as well as a top-level TECH CONGRESS 4.0 and live demonstrations in the Innovation Tours, among many other activities.

Barcelona, 20 September 2025. Barcelona will once again become the epicentre of industrial innovation on 1 and 2 October, when a new edition of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona and Worksafe opens its doors. Both events, which will be held jointly in Pavilion 1 of Fira Barcelona – Gran Vía, will be the benchmark event in Catalonia for anyone wishing to learn about the present and future of the manufacturing industry.

The first edition of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona in 2023 brought together more than 3,000 professionals and 166 exhibitors. Now, in 2025, it will grow to 14,000 m², with more than 200 leading companies and the incorporation of Worksafe, creating a unique environment for generating business, capturing leads and strengthening brand competitiveness.

‘The two events offer visitors a unique space, not only for networking and finding the best suppliers, but also for expanding their knowledge with the help of leading experts in the sector and discovering the solutions that will take their production one step further,’ says Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia.

Here are five reasons to visit Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona and Worksafe 2025:

Explore the entire industrial universe at a single event

200 leading companies will come together to showcase solutions covering the entire spectrum of production: from materials and components to automation, robotics, connected manufacturing, surface treatment, additive manufacturing and industrial software. As well as products and technologies focused on occupational health and safety, and fire protection.

The new edition of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona will feature new thematic areas: Metal Working, Automation & Digitalisation, Additive Manufacturing and Surface Treatment, with brands such as Yaskawa, VLB Group, Bahco, Bollhoff, Emka, Fat, Lusavouga, Messer Ibérica de Gases and Oxiplant.

At the first edition of Worksafe Barcelona, visitors will be able to do business with companies such as MPM, Baroig, Faraone, Hovmand, Accesus, Previnsa and Safety360.

TECH CONGRESS 4.0: access the knowledge of experts in your sector

One of the main attractions of this edition will be TECH CONGRESS 4.0, with two conference rooms.

The Advanced Manufacturing Room will be a space where the major challenges of Industry 4.0 will be addressed: from the digitalisation of processes to artificial intelligence applied to production and robotics, including advanced design, cybersecurity, quality and sustainability in industrial environments.

In the Worksafe Room, the content will focus on topics such as: the strategic role of Facility Managers, the influence of artificial intelligence on occupational safety and the human factor, preventive culture, and performance-based design in fire safety, among other topics.

The conference will also feature inspiring speakers such as Deepak Daswani and Víctor Küppers, who will offer a disruptive vision of the present and future of technological and labour transformation.

Experience the industry in action with all the event’s activities

With their ticket, visitors will be able to enjoy various activities during the two days of the event.

On 1 October, in the Worksafe Room, there will be a demonstration of the operational work of a detection dog, as part of the presentation ‘Off the radar: canine units and inter-species collaboration in security systems’. And on the afternoon of the first day, also in the Worksafe Room, there will be an immersive workshop, organised by Innoarea, where you can learn through virtual reality glasses how to put out a fire, react to a fall from height or operate industrial machinery.

In addition, the Advanced Manufacturing Room will host various networking activities on both afternoons of the event. On 1 October, Barcelona Activa is organising a meeting focused on opportunities in the metal sector. On 2 October, APAE is offering a dynamic professional speed dating session, followed by a relaxed cocktail party: the ideal atmosphere for generating synergies, consolidating relationships and opening the door to new collaborations.

Strengthen your portfolio of contacts with suppliers: the industry’s meeting point

Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona and Worksafe are designed to connect you with suppliers, customers and partners in a matter of hours. The fair, conceived as a contactless event, also facilitates interaction thanks to smart accreditations that allow you to save all the exhibitors’ information, making each meeting a real business opportunity.

Surround yourself with moving machinery and live demonstrations

Through the Innovation Tours, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the best innovations at the fair in advanced manufacturing, protection and well-being, safety and active protection, and efficiency, quality and sustainability in a one-hour tour. In this unique environment, visitors will be able to access real-time demonstrations, discover success stories applied in real factories and, above all, find the strategic and technological partners they need.

‘Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona 2025 and WorkSafe are the place where industrial innovation and occupational health and safety become real opportunities for growth. An essential event for any company or professional who wants to lead the transformation of the sector,’ concludes Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia.
