Barcelona, 03 June 2025. Easyfairs announces the opening of registration for the first edition of Worksafe, the major event on occupational safety, fire protection and industrial safety to be held on 1 and 2 October at Fira Barcelona. The first edition of this event in Spain will be held within the framework of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona, the leading biennial trade fair in the industrial sector, thus consolidating a joint offer that will attract more than 6,500 professionals.
Over two days, attendees will be able to explore more than 14,000 m² of exhibition space divided into three main areas: Safety, Security and Fire protection. They will be able to discover the latest solutions in personal protective equipment (PPE), machine safety systems, signage, industrial lighting, decontamination, ergonomics and air quality management, among others.
Innovations in property and building security, such as access control, video surveillance, perimeter security, anti-intrusion protection and advanced fire detection and extinguishing systems, will also be on display. Leading firms such as Blackline Safety Europe, Grupo Bia, Baroig, Hovmand, Sister Soft and Testiberia, among others, have already confirmed their participation.
Worksafe: innovation, knowledge and business for companies in the sector.
Worksafe will not only be a showcase for companies’ products and services, but also a meeting point for learning and debate. The Worksafe Congress will offer presentations and practical demonstrations by experts, addressing the most relevant challenges in terms of prevention, regulations, technological advances and sustainability in the workplace.
The fair also has the support of the sector’s main associations such as ASEPAL, ADSI, AES, ACAES and PESI, among others.
‘We are very excited about this first edition of Worksafe. We want this event to be a space for connection, training and discovery of solutions that will shape the future of safe work. Worksafe offers professionals an environment designed for them, where they can discover real solutions to their daily challenges, learn about the latest advances in prevention, protection and occupational health and safety, and generate relationships that will boost their businesses,’ said Oscar Barranco, general manager of Easyfairs Iberia.
Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona returns to Fira Barcelona
The 2025 edition of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona will once again be held at Fira Barcelona. This biennial event, organised by Easyfairs, has established itself as the major meeting point for industrial innovation in Spain, integrating specialised shows such as Metal and Machine Tools, Automation & Digitalisation, Surface Treatment and Additive Manufacturing.
This year, its joint celebration with the first edition of Worksafe multiplies the attractiveness of the event, generating a strategic synergy between two complementary fairs that share the same objective: to offer real solutions to the current challenges of the industry. The combination of occupational safety, automation, metalworking and industrial technology provides a complete platform for networking, lead generation and knowledge transfer.
The event will occupy more than 14,000 m² of exhibition space and is expected to drive thousands of business interactions, positioning itself as an ideal environment for exhibiting companies and visitors to close deals, boost their visibility and discover key trends in an increasingly competitive and sustainability-driven marketplace.
With a significant economic impact on the city, Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona confirms its role as an industrial benchmark at national and European level. Registration for both events is now open on their official websites.
